FOP 16's EMERGENCY SERVICE MEMORIAL PROJECT

 FOP Lodge 16 unveiled our memorial in Owensboro for members of emergency services that have lost their lives in the line of duty.  Daviess County Judge Executive Al Mattingly, who is also an honorary member of FOP 16, graciously donated space on the courthouse lawn of the Daviess County Courthouse for this memorial.  There has never been one in Owensboro / Daviess County and with all of the development downtown, FOP 16 and Judge Executive Mattingly believed it was about time that there was somewhere in that development to honor the men and women who gave their lives protecting the citizens and their property. Thanks to donations obtained by our Emergency Services Gala and our community, we were able to make this happen. Much more can be done.
